these roses are from my rose garden..when we decided to do the landscaping on the house, i wanted to plant rose bushes in memory of sambucca..he so loved flowers especially sweet smelling roses. when i would walk him he would always stop and smell the flowers...one time he
must have smelled so much that he got a thorn embedded in a tear duct whch caused his eye to swell..we thought he had a cancerous tumor and would lose his eye until we got the results back from the vet and he told us it was a thorn...we had a good laugh on that...so i picked out 9rose plants..all with interesting names like tahitian sunset(smells like a tropical drink), truly yours, ebb tide, oklahoma, elle, and barbara streisand..they smell like heaven. i wanted to be able to open the kitchen windows and have their smell drift in.....sambucca would be in heaven on earth!! ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Oh my you would love my Gentle Giant post and a Tribute..my posts about my creature comforts who have passed and I have planted them in the garden.I have that light silver pink rose too. Shall post later.My flower of chioce to remember my pets who have died is the forget-me-nots always growing around them...never forgotten.I LOVE what crabapple said"wander through the garden on wings" perhaps as a butterfly or a bird I like to think.
