I love hydrangeas but I know what it is have a plant that won't die - my neighbours Morning Glory and I wage a battle every weekend - it's still winning :) and just occasionally I catch myself smiling at the luscious purple flowers.
Back in Connecticut my girlfriend and I would gather these in September when the cool nights would turn them a dusty pink-mauve...we would hang them upside down inside and let them dry and then use them in arrangement for Christmas. One year I filled my Christmas tree with them. Stunning. I miss them.
YOu know what.. I just like life and anything that i find along the way that makes it more interesting I will try and share it with you...PLEASE DO NOT USE ANY OF MY IMAGES WITHOUT MY PERMISSION....

Did you know you can change the acidity of the soil and the color of the blooms will change?
It's a beautiful 'snowball', I love them in any color.
Now that I can't grow them here, I crave them! And peonies that used to grow like wildflowers at my home in Maryland.
Why are you trying to cut that lovely flower? It looks pretty to me. In fact it looks lovely.
I must agree! It doesn’t look a burden at all, it look adorable just like all the other lovely flowers in the garden.
Awww, why don't you like the white ones?
