artfest bound~

we were up at 4am this morning getting our last minute things together before we leave for the airport...

we will be in seatle by early afternoon and ready to start the

pre-artfest festivities...

at least i will be able to use our laptop while we are at artfest........

so stay tuned!!!

ok, you get it today is my birthday - the modem is still on the fritz but hopefully we'll be back up and running soon...but I will still enjoy my day......

First, I am off to renew my driver's license....please let me have a good hair day!!

Then I'm off for a pedicure....must have nice toes for artfest!!

Finally, lunch with a friend....

i havent been posting as the modem is on the fritz...that 48hr rainstorm really did a number on the computer in the studio...so that is why i havent been posting and right now i am at work trying to get this in before the day starts, ugh! plus i am tired...so anyway, that is that and hoping that it gets fixed SOON~~~

early birthday party~

since my birthday is the day after easter and everyone is busy next weekend

yesterday julies mom had a birthday party for me ...

we had picnic food, hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill-yummmy!

my moms famous potato salad, baked beans, vegetables and dip...

and of course the birthday cake...

check it out!!!!

it was truly amazing

and tasted like heaven..

and i still have some left

for snacking.....

artfest is nearing and i am getting so excited that it is hard to think of anything else .....

level 3 snow alert

is this a cool picture or what...

within 24hrs we

received 14 inches of snow and along with that came the level 3 snow alert..

which means no leaving your home unless it is an extreme emergency!!!!

so i took adavntage and worked on artfest trades.. and that is all i did!!

look at our sun porch, doesnt it look sweet all covered in snow..

the wind was seriously blowing!

look at this boy...he certainly adores the snow..

he had to be coaxed in with treats.....

this is all for now as the weather is playing tricks on my computer

and my patience is NIL....

snow day

we are having a major snow storm today through tomorrow...
so we cancelled all the appointments at work for today and i am at home....
put the sweat pants, sweat shirt and comfy slippers on...

nothing sounds better than to whip up a hot pot of chili

i joined the hippipty hop easter easter swap put on by

miss heather

it is due to her on the 7th...nothing like waiting to the end to finish my project..

but that is sooo me and i lost my original project when we were getting the
house ready for a showing last friday, so i had to start up another project that

really didnt turn out like i wanted but then it took a turn for the wonderful

and it was a happy accident..so girls do not look if you are in the GOLD group.....hey lookie at my surprise left by our postal lady!!!
