good news & bad news.....

good news is this is some of my art from the tootfest 2007 weekend, first one is with beeswax
second one is just a little something on a tiny canvas...

bad news is i am no longer employed..which maybe really isnt bad news..my company was bought out in december and we knew layoffs were evident, but the people that they let go today were key people including myself...anyway, nothing i can do about it, now i have no reason to not finish any projects....xoxo

I know you KNOW that another door will open, but that does not negate the emotions that come with endings of any type. I do feel sincerely that you will be blessed. Hugs ~ Rella

I am so sorry to hear your bad news, I love your good news piece!!! All I can say is this happened to me in September and the path that lay ahead of me was much brighter and has been more fruitful than I could have ever imagined. Hang in there I truly believe wonderful things lay ahead for you.

Oooh these are fantastic. Don't lose the wonderful time you had creating in the worry about losing your job.

And Kim, YOU are fantastic, so I am sure another employer will snap you up!

Oh, Kim, what a lousy thing to find out...no matter how much you do or don't love a job! I hope it all works out for the best. But hey, creative freedom right?! Email me, we should get together sometime at Barnes and Noble or somthing.

I love how you finished your piece! I also am pretty jazzed to know that one of my relatives now lives with you! I bet she loves all the animals and spending time with someone as wonderful as you..even if you are unemployed.

I love your newest artwork!! Very inspiring.
Unemployment isn't such a bad thing, it will free up your time for more fantastic artwork, even though the concept of being out of work really bites. I'm sorry that you have to go through this. I hope the job of your dreams is right around the corner.
