artfest here i come.....

well, 70charms and 30some ATCs later, i think i am really to roll..

we have a really early flight and by this time tomorrow, i should be

right in the middle of meeting and hugging and swapping and just

in a really great place with lots of great mojo.....i will try and stay in touch

daily...until then..ciao

what a special delivery today!

i opened my mailbox and there was a special parcel from

MISS JULIE

in Australia!

i was in total shock when i opened the parcel up and found this beautiful necklace!!!

it is a nina knot necklace, which i renamed the "julie necklace", and how totally thoughtful of her

to send it to me!! it brought me to tears and i was so moved and besides this stunning necklace, she send me 2ATCs-love them....i still cannot believe my eyes, this necklace is just so stunning and you all know this will be around my neck at ARTFEST!!!! thank-you, Miss Julie from the bottom of my heart!!!

Newport Beginnings....

We've arrived back ton one of our fav places....Newport, Rhode Island....everyone arrived between 9 and 11 safely and then we were off to our bed and breakfast , anxiously awaiting what was in store for us at the IVY LODGE.......

the entrance had us intriqued but just wait until we got inside...

Once we all arrived and swapped jewelry, laughs and general glad we are back together, we headed back to Salas for dinner and for a wonderful evening laughter and general "DW-ing"

good news & bad news.....

good news is this is some of my art from the tootfest 2007 weekend, first one is with beeswax
second one is just a little something on a tiny canvas...

bad news is i am no longer employed..which maybe really isnt bad news..my company was bought out in december and we knew layoffs were evident, but the people that they let go today were key people including myself...anyway, nothing i can do about it, now i have no reason to not finish any projects....xoxo
