news!~

while i have been busy with last months visit from lani and the trip to

new hamphires squam artfest and this months faerie wedding in newport, ri

in the background i have been going through different emotions when my

daughter broke the news to me that she was pregnant via a text message...

i know she did it that way because she knew my immediate reaction was that

i would be furious and of course i was...the situation wasnt ideal and they really

cannot afford it all but can any young couple? after much discussion and tears

with my daughter and meeting the soon-to-be father..i realized that it wasnt about

me and what my friends would think and how they would view my daughter..i realized

if they were my true friends it wouldnt matter to them and they would be there to

support me and my daughter and of course my friends are the best in the world and

they are all excited that i am going to be a grandparent..so that is what has been

going on in the background, so if i havent emailed you or called you up on the phone,

i have been a little distracted......

I found out that I was pregnant in September of my first year of University! I told my mother by leaving a note on her pillow one night. She was furious! Without any financial support from them,I finished University and raised a beautiful, well adjusted daughter -- she's 22 now and my parents love her to death (they were emotionally suportive all the time)! It didn't ruin my life -- she kept me focused on the important things in life. Don't worry! You'll all be fine!

It must be a very emotional and difficult decision for all involved. But as you said, no one who matters is going to think anything bad of you. Just think - you're going to be a gradma! YAY! Oh man, just keep the little one away from Britey! LOL

KK, I am here for you and like I told you before this is going to be a wonderful blessing for all. The day that baby is born your heart will expand far bigger than it is now. Being a grandmother is the greatest. Oh goody now we can start planning a baby shower, I want to help!
