is anyone watching?




is anyone watching the PBS special on National Parks ????
you need to!! it is a 6part series, tonight is the 3rd one...
it is so amazing to see how they all started along with the
Sierra Club and Audubon Society...
it makes me so appreciate the parks
all the more and i am promising myself that julie and i will see all 65 of
the national parks all along with my grandchild by my side....

I saw part of it but had to switch over to Flipping Out. It was very interesting, what I saw.

You could start with Hot Springs National Park, about an hour from my house, AND visit one of only five national rivers, the Buffalo--one of my favorite places ever. And, AND Darcy can babysit in the evenings so we can get our art on!

When will you be here?

And then we can all go to the Grand Canyon and ride burros down to the bottom--something I've always wanted to do.

Yes, I'm watching bits and pieces. It's amazing to see their beginnings. I remember going to Yellowstone with my folks in the 1960's and looking Down Into Old Faithful! Now it's roped off for a hundred feet or so.
