we arrived yesterday to our home for a week-the oriley farm..
how wonderful to wake up to the smell of french press coffee
a la julie and the sound of the high stepping rooster, being greeted
by the
hen committee and my favorite face
mamma kitty...
a little bit of heaven on earth...

Hey Girl - I am SOOOOO jealous that you're at Valley Ridge this week!!! Wish I could be there too!!!
I'm unwinding from Bead and Button show in Milwaukee, where I worked with Thomas Mann in his booth for the whole show.
Give Nina a hug for me!
Hugs,
Jill
Enjoy your time in our lovely state with such a wonderful teacher - hopefully the warming trend with the weather holds for you! Perhaps next year I can make it to Valley Ridge.
Have fun with Nina's class! I wish that I could be there... sigh.... some day I'll make it to Valley Ridge.
Can't believe I wasn't in Nina's class with you! But had plans already and surgery next week-life, ya know! I haven't been here in awhile & see you just had surgery-hope you've recovered nicely!
Oh my gosh, I do love the chicken tour! The cat is wonderful as well. I grew up in a rural landscape and wow, do I still miss it!
Glad you are coming along so well.
