I've always thought vampires were fascinating also but as for a favorite, I'd have to go with the mummy character from the Anne Rice book, "The Mummy." (or the monsters from "Where the Wild Things Are" - LOVE those!) I'd love to win the book - it's on my Amazon wish list! Have a great weekend. You can find me at greenchairstudio.typepad.com
Thanks!
I have been under the weather lately, too, and it has been a bugger. Hope you hang in there and take care. My fav halloween monster has to be the WW of the West in the W of Oz. Damn did she scare the bejesus outa me as a kid!
My favorite monster is Mike Wasowski from Monsters Inc:) He's such a cute little guy!
Hope you are feeling better soon!
There is a lot of that going around .
Take care,
Dana

I'm going to go with our own home-grown Faulk Monster ala "The Legend of Boggy Creek." You may know his more famous cousins, Sasquatch and Big Foot. Hope you are feeling better. And no, I haven't updated my blog yet..... ;o}
Hugs,
Ellen
I do hope you are feeling better Kim I think with the weather being so crazy and all. I guess my favorite monster even though I scare easy LOL would be "The Headless Horseman" from the Legend of Sleepy Hollow since it was from my neck of the woods. I just love your blog Kim
hugs
Awe Kim - sorry to hear you are under the weather!! It definitely is going around!! Try some Theraflu... It always makes me feel better and helps me sleep! My favorite scary "person" is Michael Myers from Halloween. I still get freaked out being home alone - that movie still makes me pull the covers over my eyes!!!
i am my favorite monster. trust me, i am one scary beast when things get out of hand.
i've already got this book so please don't put me in the draw. let some other lucky soul win it instead.
feel better, friend!
When I was a little girl the Phantom played by Lon Chaney in the 1925 film "Phantom Of The Opera" scared me to death (even though I felt sorry for him.) Today I don't think of the Phantom as a monster at all but Lon Chaney is my favorite Phantom of all time. I love Witches too.
Sleestacks!!!!
Does anyone else know who these monsters are?
Hmmm ... I really like dressing up at Halloween - usually as a scary witch modeled after the Wicked Witch of the West!
Hope you are feeling better soon!
I am so with you on Dracula. I particularly like the Gary Oldman (Olman) version of Dracula in the movie Bram Stokers Dracula!
I hope you feel better soon darling girl!
elvira, mistress of the night. love the eyeshadow, the hair, and the dress.
hope you are feeling better. (and i hope to meet you here in the seattle area sometime)
Wow you should get in a funk more often! teehee. hmmmm...favorite monster...I don't want to be a copy cat but I have to agree with Kelly - As I have said on my blog, my super powers include being able to turn into a MOMster as the last molecule of coffee leaves my body. i am very scary if I do say so myself!
My vote would be for vampires, too. Creepy, scary things that they are! Hope you're feeling better!
Dracula here too:) But living in Norway I would have too add trolls! Hehe..
Hope you are feeling better now! Cold seems to be going around all over the globe:( I am finally rid of my fever..now the rest:)
hi kim! i think my favorite halloween monster has to be Frankenstein. I always liked him because he was a very innocent monster. He didn't mean to be bad or hurt people - he was just a product of his enviroment!
Lets see, I am really not into monsters... I would have to say Morticia from the Adams Family is about as monster as I can get..
Ohh I do hope you are feeling better... and what a super amazing give away! But that is so you Kim!
I always liked Wednesday from the Addams Family movie. I'm a homicidal maniac. We look just like everyone else.
