look what the dell faeries will be dropping off in a week or two

bad news

well, my laptop has died and gone to the big dell graveyard in the sky!!! thus the reason for no blogging, i have another computer in my studio but i never want to go down there, sad excuse but now i will have to... not sure when we will be getting a new one as Kaj, our black & white great dane has some major teeth issues and that needs to get done before the laptop....
so in the meantime, the winners of my little jewelry giveaway are as follows:

necklace challenge

wanted to do something that involved the our learnings from

nina bagley ..

so we came up with the idea to mail each other 4random items and 3 of those 4 items at our choosing had to be incorporated into a necklace...

well, julie's blue lace threw me for a loop andi had no idea what or how to use it...

later i found out she thought i might make nina's famous coccon beads with it and

that idea never crossed my mind..

anyway, here are julie's items she sent me.. here is what i made for her......

i think we both made out like bandits on the creativity..

i just love my necklace and

cannot stop looking at it or wearing it!!

look at this wonderful presentation i had for dinner tonight!!

julie made this awesome crunchy ginger orange shrimp with couscous.

i thought that i was eating in some fancy restaurant, i just had to share

with you all, how tasty it was, i was totally totally impressed!!!!!!!!!!

artfest jewelry~

my good, good friend ellen gave me this blown glass owl she found as a prelude to artfest 2008..

i immediately knew i would make it into a big piece to wear during artfest, so this is my piece and i think it turned out better good, i like the dreamcatcher-ish effect it has.......
